Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer (4vs1) horror game where one player takes on the role of a savage Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught, tortured, and killed.
In Dead by Daylight, players take on one of two roles. As a Survivor, your goal is to escape the map without being caught by the Killer. Survivors can work together to repair generators that power the escape gates, but they can also choose to go it alone and rely on their stealth. As the Killer, your job is to hunt down and eliminate the Survivors before they can escape.
Dead by Daylight offers a wide variety of Killers and Survivors, each with unique abilities and perks. Survivors work together and can use items like med-kits and flashlights to help them survive. Killers have special abilities (such as teleportation or setting traps) that give them the upper hand when hunting.
- As a Survivor, working as a team can greatly improve your chances of escape. Use voice chat or in-game signals to communicate.
- Killers should use their abilities strategically. For instance, as The Trapper, place traps in high-traffic areas to catch survivors.
- Make use of perks! Perks can give you a significant edge in gameplay, whether you're hiding as a survivor or chasing as a killer.
The game is known for its frequent updates, adding new killers, survivors, and maps. Behaviour Interactive has consistently supported the game with seasonal events and new content, keeping the community engaged.
You can purchase Dead by Daylight on Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox Marketplace, and Nintendo eShop.
